Beauty Tuesday: March Favourites 2014!

Here were my beauty favourites for the month of March!

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick Desirable
This was my ultimate favourite beauty product last month. It is the prettiest nude colour with such a buttery, soft formula that melts into the skin. I absolutely love this lipstick & it has become one of my all-time favourite shades! Here's what it looks like when applied.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves nude shades as much as I do! I also really like the chunky & magnetic packaging of Estée Lauder's new lipsticks.

Maybelline ForeverStrong Pro Ceramic Blue and Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener
Where would I be this month without my blue nail polishes?! I went through quite a few shades in hopes that "Junior" would arrive for one of them but alas, it was not meant to be! However even though he didn't make an appearance for any, the Ceramic Blue by Maybelline was by far my favourite shade of the month! It's from their Porcelain Collection which came out 2 springs ago. These are long-wearing, durable & opaque polishes which definitely do last up to a week. I really recommend them! The Barry M clear polish is a repurchased item which I always use as my basecoat. I actually tested out a polish without this underneath and it chipped & flaked off after one day...so it definitely makes a difference!

Here is a better look at Ceramic Blue on my nails.

Such a pretty pastel for spring!

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Eye Pencil & Zero-Smudge Eyeliner
Sorry for the overload on Estée Lauder products...I don't work for the company but I did receive a lovely care package from them containing a few different items & these were the ones that I loved most out of what I tried & tested! Prior to last month I had been using a liquid eyeliner pen. This had been a staple in my makeup bag for a long time (regardless of the brand) as I've never been very confident with a liquid liner...my hand is not the steadiest and no matter what I do I can never seem to get both eyes to look the same! Even if one ends up looking perfect the other is a total mess, ha ha ha! So I was sceptical about this liner but it is actually relatively easy to use. What I love most about it though is that it stays put all day long (even with all the hormonal meltdowns & crying that I do!) and if I wait for it to dry, I can even smudge it out with some eyeshadow. The Stay-In-Place Eye Pencil is equally long-wearing however it does smudge a little at the corners of the eyes if applied too thickly.

Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser
This is technically my husband Jonathan's favourite - not mine! But I thought it important to include it, as I think some of you guys might be interested in something like this! I'll start by saying that I used to love the original Vaseline Cocoa Radiant body moisturiser (the smell is amazing!) and before I got pregnant I used it all over my body. Now that I'm trying to prevent stretch marks I am using different oils & body butters but Jonathan had been complaining about dry skin lately so I suggested that he give this a whirl! I actually think Vaseline should totally market this towards men, as Jonathan has always been far too impatient to apply any kind of moisturiser after showering. This stuff is so easy to use, you don't need to rub it in or wait for it to dry! Now he swears by this product and his skin has definitely improved! So if you are the impatient type but still want soft skin, this might be the solution to your problem!

Those were my favourites for the month of March! You can watch my video below :)

xoxo
