Alessia's Puppy Party

Welcome to Alessia's Puppy Party! Where puppies are more than welcome and grumpy faces are optional.

On the 30th of March, Alessia turned 2 and to celebrate we threw her a puppy themed birthday party given her love of dogs (real and pretend). Alessia is not really a people person and has never been one to pose for photos but even so the photographer managed to snap some beautiful shots of her...my personal favourites are the ones where she's interacting with the real doggies at the party!

Thankfully we were blessed with uncharacteristically bright & sunny weather that day, so we were able to bring the party outside. I can honestly say that since we moved house this day was the most "at home" I've felt. I'm really starting to settle into our home and the more family birthdays and events like these that we put on, the more it feels like it belongs to us.

Poor Andrea was suffering with conjunctivitis that particular day, so he doesn't look the best but we still got a few lovely photos of him as well. I hope you've enjoyed these pictures from Alessia's special day! There were two many to share on Instagram so I decided to put them all in a blog post.

List of Vendors:

My 1st Years were the ones who reached out to sponsor Alessia's party and they provided us with the most incredible gift boxes full of personalised items for our goody bags (shown on my stories.)

These guys styled the event, brought all of the props, made everything look beautiful and cleared everything up at the end of the day.

Our incredible balloon arch and all of the specialty balloons with paw prints, pink confetti and Alessia's name printed on were all from Bubblegum.

One of my favourite details of the party were the amazing dalmatian biscuits with pink bows on them. These were really cute to hand out to our guests as favours!

Lucy was faced with the difficult task of making Alessia smile...luckily she came equipped with a dalmatian costume and Baby Shark so she totally won her over! She was really lovely and energetic - the children adored her.

The cake and baked goods had to be my absolute favourite thing about this party. I think I ate a slice of birthday cake or a cake pop every single day for about a week after. The cake looked and tasted incredible, plus the inside of the icing was coated in white chocolate! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. There was even a deliciously sweet cookie creation involving white chocolate covered Oreos...YUM!

This is a local company I've used for many of our children's birthday parties before which has recently moved on from just afternoon tea to all kinds of catering. Dani is super talented at both providing amazing tasting food and also styling/dressing her work so that everything looks as beautiful as it tastes.

I think the photos speak for themselves as there were too many gorgeous ones to choose from which is why I created this blog post! Laura also shot Emilia's 3rd birthday party and we ended up framing quite a few of those photos to display in our home. I love how she captures everyone in a totally natural way, especially the children!
