On Monday I turned 27. You can't tell from these pictures but they were taken through the pouring rain! (Hence why my feet are planted firmly on the doormat and all the dogs are mostly just peeking out from behind the door!) My birthday didn't go exactly as expected and turned out to be one of those days where it all just went a bit pear shaped. But looking on the bright side, tomorrow is always another day :)
I bought this top as an emergency back-up on our last trip to Cork in Jellybean. It's from Boob Design and I needed a good nursing top for our journey home as Eduardo had spat up all over another outfit I'd packed! This ended up being a great fit and a slightly different style from the others I already have. I got it in an XS and Boob's items usually fit quite large so this was much better! It also goes perfectly with these navy blue pants from Selected. My boots are the much-loved tan suede H by Hudson pair I got from ASOS.

Bit of a short & boring one today I'm afraid but this is basically my nursing "uniform" of late. Skinny jeans/trousers, a nursing top and ankle boots! This breastfeeding top is from almost two years ago by Boob Design. These Selected trousers are actually the same exact ones as in yesterday's post but in a different colour. My boots are by H by Hudson and I styled my hair with my curling iron. That's about it!
I promise tomorrow's post will be longer - today was a rather busy one filled with photoshoots, dogs & babies but I will update you all more on that soon :)

Here's what we all wore to a recent playdate! Emilia got this sweet pink wool sweater dress & faded pink tights from Zara, her boots are UGGs and her bow is also from Zara. My striped jumper is from Jack Wills, pink trousers are by Fiorucci and my boots are from Whistles. Underneath I'm also wearing a white sleeveless shirt by Vila. I wore a very similar outfit to this over the summer except with ballet flats and no shirt. This is the autumn/winter edition! Eduardo is wearing an orange & cream stripey jumper and brown paw print leggings from Zara Baby along with some socks that actually belong to Emilia (shh...don't tell him!). They even have a bit of sparkle in the stripes!

Today we spent the whole day in Brighton where we visited the aquarium! It was the perfect day for it as it was rainy, cold & windy outside. Emilia & Eduardo really enjoyed looking at all the fish, turtles, sharks and even an octopus! My outfit is pretty simple but one of my favourites. I am wearing a pale pink Maje top which I got last year when I was pregnant. My pants are from Primark and I bought them about 4 years ago. My boots are H by Hudson. I had my hair curled from the calendar photoshoot yesterday which was nice...if only I could get that done every morning!
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

Sundays are traditionally our "lazy day" of the week which we try to spend enjoying some quality family time, relaxing and going out for a walk with the dogs if the weather's nice. Today it was definitely needed after such a busy week. I am exhausted and I think you can kind of tell in these pictures! I still need sleep! Also Eduardo has decided to go back to waking twice a night recently (*wails*) which is adding to the fatigue. The two day calendar photoshoot has left me absolutely flattened - although I am certain it was all worth it and I can't wait to see the finished result!
Today we decided to go out for Sunday lunch at our local Carluccio's which we sadly hadn't even been to since we moved here 4 months ago. It gets difficult with two small children...we've become a bit hermit-like of late because of the stresses of dealing with either a toddler tantrum or a fussy baby (you never know which one is going to hit!) but this was actually okay! Luckily our town is very family friendly and most restaurants will cater to the kiddies. Thankfully there were no meltdowns, the staff were super accommodating and the food was delicious. Emilia & Eduardo have gotten to the age where they both sit in highchairs, will share a kids' meal and actually entertain each other (alleluia!) so that has made things a lot easier. I would love to make Sunday lunch out a tradition as everybody really enjoyed themselves and it was nice to get out of the house and explore our town!
Today's outfit is brought to you by another skinny jeans, ankle boots & stripy top combo...are you surprised?! These boots are really becoming a firm favourite of mine (H by Hudson - buy them here). They're so comfy and versatile, they go with everything and the leather holds up really well. My jeggings are the original Indigo Kate Jegging by ASOS. I bought them a billion years ago, back when I first started doing YouTube and we were living in London (okay, so that's more like 5 years ago!). My top is a much more recent purchase from Urban Outfitters. I love the style of this but if I'm honest, quality wise it's not the best. It doesn't wash or wear very well and has developed that dreaded bobble texture. My hair is finally long enough to wear in a ballerina bun again...woo hoo! On my nails is a horribly chipped Barry M "Nightshade" (black) but some nails are half painted pink on top of it by Emilia as this was one of the photoshoot ideas!
Emilia wasn't up for getting her picture taken today but she is wearing a pink spotted hoody from Debenhams, light pink leggings from Laura Ashley, a gold bow headband from Ellie Rose Bows & Clothes and the cutest leather ballet moccasin/slippers which were a gift so I don't know where they're from - sorry!
Hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday :)

Happy Monday, everyone!
Here's a colour I rarely wear...plum. It's a great festive colour, perfect for autumn, very rich and warm but admittedly it's not a shade I reach for very often. In fact I think I've owned a total of three tops in this colour in my adult/teenage lifetime. I used to have a boat-neck 3/4 sleeve one from Warehouse that I got at age 12 which only recently left my wardrobe...and THAT shows you just how long I hold onto clothes!
This one is from Boob Design, it's in an XS but because it doubles up as a maternity top there is a lot of fabric - I am 5'4" which is a pretty average height for a woman but if I'm not careful this could end up looking like a dress! Having said that the style & fit is very flattering. It's got a deep V neck with quite a structured empire line waist which hides a multitude of sins (or in my case, the mountains of Jaffa cakes I've been scoffing lately)!
My pants are from Zara (about 3 and 1/2 years ago) and of course I'm wearing my favourite boots of the season from H by Hudson. My earrings& bracelet are from Swarovski and my necklace was a birthday present from Jonathan. After growing my nails for ages I finally got fed up with them (some had broken and they were all uneven & bugging me) so I chopped them all off and haven't painted them yet so they look gross - I apologise!
Have a great week!

This outfit is kind of military inspired with the khaki skinnies (Penney's/Primark - about 4 years ago!) and this holey top, ha ha ha! I bought the jumper on our cruise last year from Roxy. Underneath I'm wearing a basic black long-sleeve nursing top from Boob Design and my boots are from Whistles.
On my nails is "Vintage Violet" nail paint by Barry M and I'm wearing my Swarovski bracelet& earrings as well as my new necklace (birthday pressie from Jonathan). On my lips is Lancome's Rouge in Love lipstick in 200B Rose Thé - this almost never changes! I've been getting a lot of questions about my skincare routine since I have changed it recently. I will do a post on it soon (probably once the month is over!) but I still feel like I have a bit more tweaking to do with it until I get it perfect. I'm finding my way with different products and I will let you all know as soon as the time is right!
I hope you're all having a great week so far! Our house is finally back to normal after our two day shoot, everything has been deep-cleaned & organised and I feel like I can breathe again!

It's not technically winter yet, but it's beginning to feel like it! Today was a total oversized jumper kind of day...both for me and Emilia. In fact Emilia broke out one of her Christmas jumpers (no judging please!) but it was so cute I just couldn't resist! This was one of her options for our December picture for the calendar shoot - it's from
John Lewis and I love the mint colour, pom-poms and polar bear! We paired it up with some knitted leggings from Young Dimension (Primark) and her
UGG boots. She is wearing her light pink bow from
Layniebug Designs and lace headband from
Heather's Bonny Bows.
My jumper is a new purchase from our local
Ashworth & Bird. I picked it up while shopping for presents before our recent trip to Ireland, saw it on the hanger and fell in love with it instantly! Unfortunately they didn't have it in my size but seeing as the style is more oversized than fitted I got the medium and so far I'm not disappointed! This is by a UK brand called
Olive and I love the studs on the sleeves, it's super cosy and inexpensive too! My black jeggings are from ASOS (about 4 years old) and my boots are from
Whistles.
I just wanted to add this photo as I thought it was funny...this is me trying to organise six dogs for their walk this morning! They are actually all looking at the camera (for once) except for Bianca. Can you tell who's who?! If you don't know here's a bow guide:
dark blue = Albi
light blue = Theo
yellow = Nuvies
pink = Nivea
purple (usually, she lost hers so currently has none) = Sina
fuchsia = Bianca
Hope that helps...I get so many questions about how to tell them apart! Obviously we know who's who without the bows but it helps for other people to have them all different, so we try to get our groomer to keep the colours the same.

Today's weather was ridiculously changeable so these pictures were taken in between rain showers! I used to love this outfit and still do but unfortunately I think these jeans are on their last legs...literally!! I wore them non-stop throughout both pregnancies as well as postpartum and they have stretched a lot. As a result they are very...ahem, saggy looking. I did get them for €5 on the sale rack at Zara (about 4-5 years ago) so it might be time to say goodbye! My shirt is from Tommy Hilfiger and the striped cardigan is by GAP. My boots are H by Hudson and my pumpkins are ready for the compost ;) Ha ha ha!
Emilia wasn't in a picture taking mood but I managed to get one of her adorable outfit. She's wearing another one of her Christmas jumpers - this one is a fuzzy grey penguin number from M&S. We paired it up with some spotty grey leggings from Zara, her little pink & grey ballet moccasin slippers and a bow from Ellie Rose Bows & Clothes.

I was saving these photos for a rainy day...literally! This morning it was torrential raining during the usual time that I take pictures (Eduardo's morning nap) so I decided to scrap that idea and give you guys an alternative I'd been hiding up my sleeve instead! Here is a sneak peek of one of the shots from our calendar shoot - this isn't the full picture as we shot the whole family in different parts but this is Emilia's & my little part!
We're supposed to be having a girly day out shopping (with Bianca in tow!) and the pictures were conveniently taken in my regular outfit of the day spot outside our front door. Not that anybody actually goes shopping outside their front door but...well, this was what we had to work with! I just sort of threw this outfit together as I had planned on wearing something else that didn't work out. So I am wearing my GAP 1969 Always Skinny Jeans, black Whistles wedge boots, grey oversized GAP tee, H&M leather jacket and Gucci sunnies. Emilia wore her pink coat we got her in a little baby boutique in Sorrento, dark pink leggings from Zara, UGG boots and her cute little toddler sunnies.
As you can tell Emilia was going all out with her poses...everybody was in stitches and I was trying so hard not to laugh as we were both supposed to pout and look kind of snobby but I couldn't stop smirking! I'm useless at this modelling thing, ha ha ha! I also love how many dogs featured in this shot, whether they intended to or not! I'm so excited to share the finished calendar with you guys! The pictures look amazing - our photographer Chris Brock is so talented.
Happy Friday & have a lovely weekend!

Today was spent building furniture we got from yesterday's Ikea trip so I wanted to wear something comfy. Let me rephrase that...today Jonathan spent the day building furniture while I went and had myself one of the most horrific driving/parking nightmares of the century which involved a trolley bay, many new scrapes & dents to the side of my car, impaired visibility due to my back window being covered in leaves and dirt from being left sitting in the driveway for months on end, and a LOT of tears. But we won't dwell on that unexpected incident...ahem. I'll just never leave the house again. Anyhow, my outfit of the day consists of an olive green shirt from Forever21 that I picked up this summer which I layered over a plain black Boob Design nursing singlet. I'm also wearing my black Mother Tucker shapewear leggings from Belly Bandit. It was raining (again) today so I'm wearing my black Regent Savoy Hunter wellies.
Jonathan was lucky enough to snap this adorable picture of Emilia & Eduardo together! Emilia is wearing a squirrel dress& faded pink tights from Zara and Eduardo is wearing a grey skeleton long-sleeve tee also from Zara. His grey star dribble bib is from Jack & Jillaroo. I might elaborate further on my parking incident in a future blog post...right now I'm still recovering from the horror of it all!! And this comes from somebody whose car has parking sensors! I tell you, those things are no good to people like me! I need a little man who jumps into the driver's seat to take over every time I come to parking space. Or, you know...a chauffeur. Whatever works!

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today I took all of your advice and instead of becoming a hermit I decided to get in my car again and attempt to drive to the shops without having another parking meltdown. While the weather was better, Jonathan had cleaned my back window so I could actually see out of it, and there were far more free spaces for me to choose from I still chickened out at the last minute and had Jonathan park for me! I genuinely don't understand how people reverse into spaces...it boggles my mind. Maybe one day I'll get my head around it but for now, please allow me 5 extra spaces so that I can park across them all. I'm also convinced that my car is actually monstrously sized (it's not) and I need an extremely wide berth whilst I manoeuvre my gigantic double-decker bus disguised as a C-class around the roads of Surrey.
Here I am wearing my new French Connection oversized jumper which was part of my birthday present from my mama. I love it! It looks black but the colour on the label says "ink" so I'm not sure sometimes if it's just a really dark navy. Either way, it's become one of my favourite autumn/winter pieces. It's longer in the back than the front, has a wide neckline and looks great layered over a white shirt. Here I'm wearing it with my Vila white sleeveless blouse. Underneath I have on my grey acid wash Zara skinnies and Whistles ankle boots.
Eduardo wanted to take part in today's outfit of the day (Emilia didn't) so here he is wearing none other than Zara Baby...are you even surprised?! If you couldn't already tell I am a huge fan of Zara Baby clothes. In fact almost all of Eduardo's wardrobe consists of Zara items. I first fell in love with their stuff when I discovered their range of boy leggings. Eduardo isn't exactly blessed in the height department (can you blame him?! I mean look at his parents ;) so his legs look completely ridiculous in most boy pants. Think of a stick in a paper cup...you get the idea. Zara leggings actually fit properly without making him look like his little pins are drowning in fabric so they're a win-win for us! Here he is wearing a grey alphabet pair along with a grey "superboy" top. His bib is from Jack & Jillaroo.
I hope you all had a relaxing Sunday and lovely weekend!

'Tis the season...to wear Christmas jumpers?! Maybe not just yet...but I had a good excuse! Today we had an interview & photoshoot with The Telegraph where we did a piece all about "Christmas with the SacconeJolys". So this jumper was really a necessity. Jonathan thinks I'm a loser for matching my pants to the reindeer print. I told him it wasn't intentional...he knows I am lying through my teeth. (I have a chronic matchy-matchy obsession.) This navy blue sequin Christmas jumper was one of the unused options from our calendar shoot. Unfortunately I have no idea where our set producer/designer Lisa got it but I managed to find it on Ebay here. The label says "Star Clothing". My pants are by Selected Femme and are the Annie Twill Pants in a beige/camel colour. My boots are from H by Hudson.
Emilia was wearing a Christmas jumper too but both she & Eduardo were absolutely exhausted after the busy morning we had so they were napping soundly in their beds when we finally got the chance to take these pictures! I think the Telegraph article will be out around the second week in December but I'm not sure of the exact date yet so I will let you guys know!

My poor two little nuggets are sick with a cold at the moment which means lots of sniffles, runny noses, snotty tissues and late night wakings (*wails*). I know this is all strengthening their immune systems but that doesn't make it any easier - I hate seeing my babies sick! Not that you can really see it, but Eduardo's outfit here is from The Children's Place and his dribble bib is from Jack & Jillaroo. His hair is starting to grow a lot! I think he's going to be lighter than Emilia - right now it looks like an ashy blonde.
My outfit of the day features this check shirt which you guys have seen many times...it was such a steal from Heatons three years ago and it has taken me through two pregnancies and beyond! Every time I wear it I get so many questions & compliments about it - I wish people knew what a bargain it was! Underneath I have on a plain white Boob Design nursing singlet (perfect breastfeeding outfit) and another pair of Selected Femme pants. These ones are the exact same type as yesterday's tan pair but oddly enough they fit completely differently. When I bought them both were called "Annie Twill" skinny trousers and I got them in the exact same size. However this pair fit A LOT smaller than the other. It drives me crazy! I genuinely can only fit into them comfortably if I've lost a few pounds and am having a really skinny day! Today was not such a day, which is precisely the reason why I've since taken them off and replaced them with a far more comfortable pair of velour sweatpants in the same colour (no-one will ever know...). My boots are from H by Hudson, same as yesterday! On my nails is Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle polish (a glittery plummy red) and on my lips is none other than Lancome's Rouge in Love lipstick 200B Rose Thé.
Tomorrow Jonathan & I are heading out to do some child-free shopping...it is pretty ridiculous how excited I am!! Although I'm fairly certain I will just end up missing our two little monsters the entire time we're gone. This was also why today's blog post was so late - I was pumping like a mad woman and am not multi-talented enough to blog and milk myself at the same time. Perhaps someday I will master that along with reverse-parking and other difficult things ;)

Today we had the rare luxury of a shopping day out sans kids. We headed to Bluewater, did some damage and were back for the decent hour of 4 o'clock...just as the babies were waking from their afternoon nap. Perfect! Emilia & Eduardo made reindeer & snowflake Christmas decorations for the tree and rolled/cut out shapes with home-made glitter play-dough. Okay let's be honest, Emilia did those things...Eduardo tried to stuff as much play-dough as possible into his mouth. Both had an amazing time! In fact, Emilia loves our childminder so much that before we had left this morning she turned to me and said "go away, mummy!" as I was stealing her quality time having "grown up" conversations with Emma the childminder...I didn't know whether to be happy or offended!!
I bought this outfit last year right before getting pregnant with Eduardo and it is all from Ted Baker. It features this brown & rose gold light-weight knit jumper and faded pink pants with rose gold hardware. My boots are from H by Hudson, like in almost every other post this autumn! It's not pictured in this post but I also got the chance to carry something other than a massive changing bag...it was a life-changing experience! I felt like a teenager again and my once "heavy" tan Chloé Paddington seemed like a flimsy little clutch. Amazing!!
Also, just to let you guys know - the Saccone Joly Calendars are now available to pre-order! (You can pre-order them here.) I am so excited to share them with you all! So much hard work & preparation went into them, and we are so happy with how they turned out. Let me know what you think!

This jumper was one of the items I purchased at Bluewater yesterday. I'm quite a fussy shopper, definitely not an impulse buyer and I have to really love something in order to make a purchase. This caught my eye at the last minute when we were in Tessuti - I had already picked up two basic navy & white v-necks from Velvet (boooring, but necessary!) and was about to give up with nothing "special" but then I saw this! I'm always a fan of black & grey in the colder months but am trying to change my ways this season. A colour I often forget about is cream or off-white. It can actually look really warm & snuggly in the winter, especially paired with warm tones and gold jewellery.
This chunky knit pullover is from Juicy Couture and priced at £144 but all womenswear in the shop was 20% off so I got a good deal! (I realise the girl on the website is wearing this off the shoulders - I feel mine are too broad to pull off this look but I may try it off one-shoulder next time!) Underneath I am wearing a basic cream high-neck tank top from Forever21 (couldn't find it on the website, but this is the closest thing to it as it's also 100% linen). My olive green pants are from ASOS, about 3 and 1/2 years ago. The tan ankle boots are from H by Hudson.
Aside from the fashion picks I mentioned, I also did a little bit of home decor shopping. I can't tell you how many times I had passed Zara Home but dared not to enter with small bored children and far too many beautiful items just begging to be picked up & smashed. So I saved myself the embarrassment and bided my time. Yesterday was the perfect opportunity, I was child free and Jonathan was on the phone (distracted husbands make for amazing shopping partners. You can literally buy as many items as you want without them even noticing - ladies, take note!). I needed a new blanket as well as another duvet set so I got this furry deliciousness and this striped grey set. I also got a blue star cot sheet for Eduardo...and a few baby boy spoons as I am sick of feeding him with pink Minnie Mouse cutlery. Not that it makes the slightest bit of difference, but I feel bad for him sometimes!

To be totally honest this isn't one of my favourite outfits - but I'll admit it is getting increasingly difficult to come up with new looks as this 30 Days of Style series goes on! I think the jumper would have looked better with a denim shirt (*adds good quality denim blouse to Christmas wishlist*) or a darker colour jumper would have made the white shirt pop more. Oh well, you live and you learn! The white shirt in question is from ASOS, the jumper is from Vero Moda. My boyfriend jeans are another ancient ASOS purchase, from about 4 years ago. Ankle boots are from H by Hudson - in fact this is the only part of the outfit I'm pretty happy about...I will be wearing this jeans/boots combo again.
The babies are still sick :( Poor Emilia didn't do too well at football today and we ended up skipping ballet completely as she was so off-form. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll both be better by next week for our trip to Ireland!

Today was such a dull day...one of those awfully dreary, wet & depressing ones where all you want to do is just curl up on the sofa in your pyjamas and stuff your face with chocolate. But alas, the inspired blogger in me decided to pick NOVEMBER to do 30 Days of Style. Why couldn't I have picked June?! Or even September for goodness sake! I can't count the number of times I've carefully timed taking blog post pictures around downpours of rain (*shakes fist at cloudy skies*).
This outfit consists of a lot of items you've seen before, just styled slightly differently! The rust-coloured top is a nursing one from Boob Design which I layered underneath this shearling gilet from Vila (almost 3 years ago). My pants are from Zara (about 3.5 years ago!) and my boots are from H by Hudson.
I know I've mentioned previously that Emilia & Eduardo are sick, but I think Emilia is actually worse than we realised :( The cold seems to have gone into her chest and I think she might need antibiotics. This is just my gut feeling, I don't know for sure but I will be taking her to the doctor's if not tomorrow then on Monday. Thank goodness neither of them have a temperature, but I can see that she's not at all herself - poor thing :( Eduardo is still his happy little smiley self, ha ha ha! His runny nose hasn't got the better of him!
I hope you're all having a good weekend and the weather is less depressing where you live!

Yes, that is a milk stain on my left boob. And no, I'm not ashamed to admit it! Ha ha ha...these pictures were taken right after putting Eduardo down for his afternoon nap so, what can I say?! It also seems that Nivea decided to join me for today's photoshoot...she is the doggy with the pink bow who appears to be frozen on the spot. Not sure what's going on there...I think she was debating in her head whether she should go out into the pouring rain or not. Which leads me to my next excuse point - it has literally not stopped raining all day so unfortunately these had to be taken inside.
Not that my outfit is particularly exciting but it is a Sunday after all. You can be sure that we didn't leave the house today with two sick children and this miserably wet weather! Even the doggies won't go out...they are all huddled together either on the sofa or in one bed (I found FOUR of them squished on top of one another). I am wearing my trusty GAP 1969 Always Skinny jeans along with a striped Boob Design nursing top (the one I linked isn't the exact same as this is from almost 2 years ago but it's the closest to it!) and my H by Hudson boots. Basic, comfy, mommy attire!

Finally, some sunshine again! I can't tell you how relieved I was to not see rain today. Especially because we are going out tonight! So this is more like my outfit of the evening...we are going to Zoe's book launch (in fact, by the time this post goes live we should already be there!) and I wanted to wear something a little bit more dressed up but still comfortable & warm...who am I kidding this isn't remotely warm, in fact I almost turned into an icicle while taking these pictures. But here's what I came up with! I also plan on throwing a big scarf around my neck before we go. I'm wearing a polka dot flowy camisole which I got 4 years ago from Amity Cork. I layered it under a black collarless Vila blazer which I got about 2.5 years ago. I'm also wearing black jeggings from ASOS (these are ancient too...possibly 5 years old and one of my first ASOS purchases!) and my Whistles wedge boots.
I curled my hair with my Tigi curling wand (most recent tutorial here), on my lips is Lancome Rouge in Love lipstick #200B Rose Thé and my nails aren't painted yet...but all going to plan hopefully they will red by tonight! Emilia & Eduardo are feeling much better, thank goodness. Thank you for all your well wishes! They woke up this morning looking a lot healthier so I am hoping this cold/cough/sore throat just runs its course! Emilia even wanted to get involved in these outfit pictures which is a rarity at the moment! She is wearing the sweetest little poodle top/tutu ensemble from The Children's Place. Her tights and slippers are from The Children's Place too and she is wearing a bow/headband from Layniebug Designs.
I'm actually really looking forward to a night out with no kids (how horrible does that sound...oh, the guilt!) especially since we are making the most of it and having dinner out too...although let's be honest, I'm actually counting down the hours till dessert. I just hope I don't freeze to death in the meantime. Unfortunately I intend on carrying a ridiculously tiny pre-babies Moschino flap bag with me...if only changing bags were acceptable evening wear! I could have stuffed a spare woolly jumper inside.
